Aktiv Solutions is seeking well-qualified sales and project management professionals ready to join our rapidly growing team as a Director of Key Accounts.

What You’ll Do:At Aktiv®, your role will consist of identifying and building client relationships while working towards the deployment of our energizing and value driven functional training ecosystems®.Ideal candidates will possess excellent attention to detail, self-motivation, strong project management skills, and the ability to operate in an incredibly fast paced environment. We are a creative and collaborative team focused on delivering results for our clients and the company alike.

This position is responsible for the ground-up development and nurturing of key Client relationships within the commercial fitness industry, including health clubs, boutique studios, and anywhere functional training solutions may be needed.

  • Identify prospective clients from a variety of sources (known key accounts, trade shows, marketing, referrals and beyond) and achieve targeted sales goals.
  • Schedule meetings with, and present to, leading health club and studio chains—you will primarily target clients seeking to create dedicated space(s) for movement-based programing and the equipment solutions that facilitate them.
  • Provide facility design expertise around our unique dynamic training solutions and the equipment required to power them.
  • Prepare and presents proposals to prospective and repeat clients (including equipment recommendations, space plans, installation guidance, and payment options).
  • Attend designated trade shows, cultivate relationships, and represents the energy of the Aktiv brand always.

Desired Skills & Experience:

  • Business Development and Relationship Management.
  • Effective interpersonal, negotiating and conflict management skills required.
  • Ability to articulate complex business solutions to clients through presentations and proposals
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, work under pressure, and adapt to sudden changes in the work environment is essential.
  • Demonstrates strong organization, planning, communication, diplomacy and presentation ability.
  • Minimum (8) years successful national or key account sales experience within the fitness industry.
  • Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to organize well during multi-faceted projects
  • Proficiency in Microsoft for Windows Applications
  • College degree with a concentration in business or exercise science and/or compelling equivalent fitness industry work experience required

Working Conditions/Physical Requirements:

Position will require approximately 40-50% travel to customers, trade shows/events, and Corporate HQ.
