Regional Sales Director — Central U.S.

Aktiv Solutions is seeking well-qualified sales and project management professionals ready to join our rapidly growing team as a Regional Sales Director.

At Aktiv®, your role will consist of identifying and building client relationships while working towards the deployment of our energizing and value driven functional training ecosystems®. What You’ll Do:

This position is responsible for the ground-up development and nurturing of key Client relationships within the commercial fitness industry, including health clubs, boutique studios, and anywhere functional training solutions may be needed.

  • Identify prospective clients from a variety of sources (known key accounts, trade shows, marketing, referrals and beyond) and achieve targeted sales goals.
  • Schedule meetings with, and present to, leading health club and studio chains—you will primarily target clients seeking to create dedicated space(s) for movement-based programing and the equipment solutions that facilitate them.
  • Provide facility design expertise around our unique dynamic training solutions and the equipment required to power them.
  • Prepare and presents proposals to prospective and repeat clients (including equipment recommendations, space plans, installation guidance, and payment options).

Marketing Coordinator

Aktiv Solutions is seeking a well-organized, resourceful, and self-motivated Marketing Coordinator who is enthusiastic about fitness and interior design. Your role is a unique opportunity to make an impact with the Aktiv marketing team while also expanding your skills in creative, digital, social media placement, advertising, and much more. The ideal candidate will excel in our fast-paced environment, have a full working knowledge and experience within all social media channels, be a savvy copywriter, and possess general understanding of marketing, ideally related to B2B enterprise. Candidates should be prepared and excited to contribute to marketing discussions regularly and thoughtful additions that will leverage our growing enterprise within the fitness industry.

What You’ll Do:

  • Serve as a project manager and liaison with company partners, internal departments, and digital marketing third-party vendors.
  • Support Marketing and Sales teams through ad hoc projects
  • Responsible for developing and implementing Social Media strategy in order to increase online presence and improve marketing and sales efforts.
  • Lead day-to-day management of social calendar and planning to ensure successful deployment and execution across various channels.
  • Stay current on social platform updates impacting copywriting, community management and social media strategy.
  • Collaborate and assist in the development of content and collateral.
  • Support departmental design and creative needs
  • Assist with the development of Case Studies composure, BLOG, and website SEO optimization

Desired Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing / Business, Communications or related area, or equally relevant work experience.
  • A minimum of 1-3 years in coordinating social media, digital advertising, and general marketing/admin experience.

Client Support Specialist

Aktiv Solutions is seeking an associate to mid-level inside sales and account support professional to join our rapidly growing team as a Client Support Specialist.

Your role will assist our Sales Operation leadership in the development and execution of key components of our specialized sales process over a wide variety of customer types. The Client Support Specialist will interface with clients to provide exceptional customer service and ongoing developmental support leading to both repeat and referral business.  The ideal candidates possess excellent attention to detail, are exceptionally tech savvy, and can operate in a fast-paced environment. This role reports to the Director of Sales Operations.

Responsibilities

  • Develop a thorough knowledge of Aktiv products and solutions, spatial plans, installation guidance, and payment options.
  • Build relationships and rapport with clients while providing them with guidance on recommended solutions.
  • Provided responses to inbound related inquiries and liaison with operations to ensure shipments and installations are successfully completed.
  • Prepare quotes and proposals for prospective and repeat clients.
  • Initiate facility spatial plans and manage revisions.
  • Execute timely follow up on open proposals.
  • Ensure forecasting is accurate on a weekly basis.
  • Assist with any additional administration required for accounts.
  • Must adopt and utilize CRM, keeping current all customer information, revenue opportunities, quotations, and sales activity.
  • Professionally represents the Aktiv brand with energy and enthusiasm.

Operations Project Manager

Seeking a motivated Project Manager to join the internal Operations Team for the industry leader in commercial fitness facility design and equipment-supply solutions!

This exciting and adventurous position would throw you right in the middle of the company’s fast-paced and detailed-oriented environment of Operations – the company’s nerve center that oversees all logistics from the moment after a Sales Order has entered the system, through to the completed installation and continued Client support. Your responsibility would be to immerse and integrate yourself into all facets of Operations with focused emphasis on teamwork to ensure a smooth execution of order delivery and installations.

Further, you would be required to develop a comprehensive understanding of both the department’s and company’s immersive expansion, formulated processes, and embracive culture. You, as the Project Manager, will also be a key-player in executing daily functions centered around the logistical scheduling, organization and implementation of sales orders, and how it correlates to the ongoing attention to Client-related support duties.

Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent client experiences through quality service
  • Responsible for client communication, conflict resolution, and compliance of client deliverables and revenue
  • Ensure that client issues are dealt in an efficient manner, informing managers of any problems that may arise
  • Own overall project management process for assigned projects
  • Ensure project documents are complete and stored/filed appropriately
  • Manage daily operational and administrative aspects of projects/accounts- from inception to final delivery to client sign off
  • Lead and works with other team members for project execution to maintain and report a continuous knowledge of project status
  • Identify potential issues and/or opportunities related to project mitigating exposure and risk
  • Be aware of and in pursuit of opportunities for client account growth and new business
  • Understand company objectives, goals, sales and operational processes
  • Follow up on past due accounts to ensure clients’ accounts are in good standing
  • Contribute to ongoing efficiency improvement of internal processes
  • Ensure Standard Operating Procedures are followed; provide input and draft revisions when new guidelines are required due to changing company policies
  • Ensure proof of delivery is received for all completed orders
  • Confirm all completed orders are closed by warehouses
  • Ensure all paperwork is submitted according to order processing procedures (SOP)
  • Maintain a delivery schedule
  • Order processing, tracking orders, delivery coordination, post-delivery follow up.

Purchasing Manager

Seeking a motivated Purchasing Manager to handle procurement activities for the industry leader in commercial fitness facility design and equipment-supply solutions!

The Purchasing Manager’s responsibilities include developing purchasing strategies, maintaining positive relationships with suppliers, and coordinating with internal teams regarding their supply needs to meet required deadlines. You will manage all aspects of purchasing activity and inventory control for the set of vendors assigned. You’ll generate and police purchase orders and drop-ships, process inventory transactions and reconcile all inventory discrepancies. The Purchasing Manager will also need to negotiate the best possible deals with suppliers, which includes product upgrades and lead time improvements. 

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily purchasing activities
  • Manage supplier relations and negotiating contracts, prices, timelines, etc.
  • Maintain the supplier database, purchase records, and related documentation
  • Propose improvements to the current purchasing system that will improve vendor relationships and lower the cost of doing business
  • Collaborate with inventory control and sales to develop metrics for gauging inventory level needs and then maintaining those levels throughout the year
  • Take the lead in creating profitable ways to manage obsolete and slow-moving stock to help offset losses
  • Develop and implement purchasing strategies
  • Ensure that all procured items meet the required quality standards and specifications
  • Prepare cost estimates and managing budgets
  • Research cost and availability of components and materials
  • Generate and submit purchase orders and drop ships to vendors
  • Communicate closely with vendors and internal departments to ensure goods are delivered in a timely manner
  • Track and receive all shipments from vendors
  • Process inventory transactions and reconcile inventory discrepancies
  • Work with A/R and Sales for all billable inventory transactions
  • Analyze customer requirements from multiple sources against inventory to ensure adequate and on-time supply of finished goods to the customer

Required Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or a related field
  • APICS certification preferred
  • 5+ years’ purchasing management experience
  • Strong knowledge of inventory and supply chain management required
  • Proven history of developing effective inventory management policies required
  • Experience as a Purchasing Manager or in a similar position
  • Supervisory and management experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong critical thinking and negotiation skills
  • Strong planning and organizational skills

Staff Accountant

Aktiv Solutions is seeking a self-starting Staff Accountant who is and enthusiastic about maintaining and improving our receivables and payables processes.

At Aktiv Solutions, your responsibilities will include managing the day-to-day payables and receivables process, as well as reconciling accounts and helping with the month-end financial close process. Our ideal candidate is detail-oriented and organized with excellent written and verbal communication skills. You must be able to operate in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment. You will report to the two accounting managers.

Responsibilities

  • Manage vendor relationships and respond to vendor inquiries (including monitoring the accounting email)
  • Manage the billing email (including respond to customer inquiries and charging customer credit cards)
  • Manage the weekly vendor payment list, prioritize vendor payments with a given budget, and issue payments and prepayments
  • Enter all vendor bills received
  • Assist in posting routine transaction journal entries (such as employee expense reports)
  • Assist in the month-end close process
  • Creating and maintaining vendor profiles
  • Processing credit cards and cash receipts
  • Reconciling of AP vendor accounts when needed
  • Manage invoicing, collections and accounts receivable processes so we are paid on time and maintain good relationships with our clients

Required Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
  • 2-3 years of prior experience in an A/R A/P role
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Very detail-oriented
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Excel and Word)
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

  • Prior experience with NetSuite preferred, but not required
