Project Summary: In April 2020, Esterra Park, a 30-acre master-planned community, was created. With buildings for offices, apartments, and hotels this enormous community needed a fitness facility with a “wow” factor and that’s where Aktiv Solutions came in. Aktiv was sought after for this project by the architects after seeing a facility Aktiv designed at Hyde Square.
This multifamily facility has two levels, the first of which is 1,700 square feet in size and the second level is 2,014 square feet. The facility has about 40% of each floor devoted to functional training, which was made possible by spatial floorplan design with select equipment to accommodate movement-based modalities.
