Hygiene
Your Hygiene Protocol begins with the cleaning of air and the cleaning of surfaces. Consider implementing air purification. Aktiv has partner with Oransi to offer an optimized and cost effective system that we can implement quickly. Aktiv Hygenix C-EJ120K Commercial Purifier system was chosen by the Javits Center in New York during the Coronavirus outbreak. It provides a Medical Grade HEPA filtration efficiency of 99.7% + a secondary granular activated carbon filter effective for all gasses. It’s simple to install and can be placed in pods to provide effective coverage for any space.
We also continue to supply two commercial-grade disinfectant wipes, and various wall and floor dispenser options to work within any space.
Distancing Measures
To ensure social distancing, it,s all about the floor planning. You will also want to consider effective signage, floor markings that distinguish individual workout areas, and physical equipment adjustments to limited shared equipment during sessions. Aktiv’s design division is here to help you re-balance and support your fitness floor now.
Effective implementation of digital workout guidance such as our Aktiv TV platform is another smart way to contain traffic flow and provide deeper area specific support. Aktiv TV content is also available to extend towards at-home deployment for members, creating continuity among your digital offering.
Smart Storage & Suspension
With member safety and floorplan efficiencies in mind, we’ve configured our GYM RAX® Apogee bays to establish  personalized functional training pods within the footprint of a treadmill.
Each bay is outfitted with the right balance of equipment, smart storage, guided flooring and dedicated Aktiv Hygenix Suface Wipes. Digital guidance can be added here to deliver energetically and engaged personal workouts.

You will want to incorporate signage and visual guidance to direct members, guests and staff regarding hygiene protocol and best practices. Our visual aids and communication guidance options include signage for interior, exterior, and overall best-in-class membership experience. Customization is available to enhance the brand experience.
